My firework photos didn't turn out very well. We let fireworks off at our house on the 3rd. Then headed downtown to Indianapolis on the 4th. Only to be disappointed. It was rainy all day and as the night went on, it started getting really foggy, so they ended up postponing the fireworks until Sunday night. So, we didn't get to see any BIG fireworks this year. But that's okay, because we still had fun. My captures this week are from what we did ALL weekend. Although they may not be firework photos, they are still photos from our Independence Celebration all weekend long!
We started off the weekend with a trip to the local water park on Friday afternoon with cousins.
Then we had a cookout & fireworks with family and friends.
We ended our weekend with a trip to the zoo, where we got to pet the sharks...
Watch a walrus play in the water...
And ride the "choooo-chooo!"
