As I was getting Colby ready for bed...I started thinking about how much he's changed my life. How much I love him. And to be honest...there just aren't enough words to express how much I care about this little dude...

Shrink-A-Versary Weigh-In: Week Two

Another week has gone by over at The Sisterhood. So, that means it's time to hop on that scale...no matter how much you don't want to. Do it now!

I did. And my result was bad. I gained this week and probably last week too because I forgot to weigh-in.

Starting weight: 197
Current weight: 199
Weight loss: +2

I'm SO IRRITATED with myself right now. I need all of you to come give me a swift kick in the ass! Seriously. I'm waiting for it.

I know exactly what my problem was and I'm getting rid of it. That damn Halloween candy. I brought ALL OF IT in to work yesterday and let everyone dig in haha. AND...it's that damn cookie dough that I bought from a co-worker to help his daughter's school raise money. Seriously. I'm not doing that anymore. The cookie dough didn't even make it to the oven. WTF. No wonder I gained weight.

But, on a good note. I started walking yesterday. I walked 1.5 miles. I had planned to do 2miles, but it got cut short because I got a phone call from my brother. So, today, as soon as I get home, I'm walking again. The weather has been in the high 50's to low 60's here, which makes it perfect for walking outside and I love it. When I walk outside it seems like I walk more and enjoy it more.

Beautiful Weather

This past weekend we had beautiful weather here in Indiana (especially for November!). So of course we took advantage of it and went to the park both days!

Saturday was still a little chilly if you were in the shade, but it was still beautiful. Colby loved being able to play at the park and get rid of some energy!

He has no fear when it come's to climbing (but it scares me to death!)

Although he'll climb on anything, he's still a little uneasy when it comes to going down slides. So the "baby" slide is as much as he would do, but it was the perfect size for him!

Then on Sunday we went back again. This time we were a little more prepared. We took toys to play with in the sandbox. For some reason, Colby decided the rake was his favorite and he wouldn't put it down, even while he was swinging!

Before we left to head back home, we took a little walk around the park. We saw the pond and the ducks. There is also a little zoo there. Most of the animals were put up for the winter, but the monkeys were still out and those are Colby's favorites. So he was happy about that! On our little walk, I noticed that most of the leaves had already started to lose their pretty fall colors and were turning brown. But, I found one that was still bright and beautiful. This is my favorite fall color!

...it introduced me to Two Zany Zebras!

Jill at Two Zany Zebras is one of the most creative, talented, SUPER friendly people that I have been lucky enough to meet and become "blog friends" with.

Jill and I have done several trades in the last year or so. I just love the things that she makes! If I could, I would have one of everything!

My most recent trade with her, included a Spidey Monster Zany Toddler T-shirt. And, being that we live in Indiana, she was even nice enough to make it with LONG sleeves!

Last year, I got Jack the Jack-O-Lantern and a Christmas Elf!!
